PRODUCTS

MATERIALS

Thanks to our continuous experience since 1952, we can supply a wide range of elastomers that are able to cover most of the applications required by the use of the gaskets themselves.
Below we will list the compounds we normally use, not forgetting the possibility of studying new elastomer characteristics, in order to be able to cover the most complex needs even under the request of specific specifications.
We inform you that all the technical characteristics listed below are to be understood of a GENERIC nature, therefore please contact us before considering any type of use of the materials listed below.

STANDARD COMPOUNDS

NBR

These elastomers commonly called nitrile, are the most used in seals, due to their excellent resistance to oils, greases, high and low temperatures and good elasticity.
Applications: mineral oils, excellent mechanical resistance, wear, heat. Moderate resistance to fuels, atmospheric ageing.
Maximum temperatures: -30 + 130°c

EPDM

Ethylene propylene copolymers. The compounds based on these elastomers have an excellent resistance to oxidation, therefore they resist well to acids and particularly to low temperatures.
They are not recommended for use in contact with mineral oils.
Applications: Air, water, steam, oxygen, ozone oxidation, hydraulic brake oils.
Maximum temperatures: -50 + 150°c

POLYURETHANE

The compounds based on these elastomers give the seals very high physical and elastic characteristics, so as to considerably revolutionize the concept of seals, especially as regards high pressure seals and dynamic applications, thanks to their low friction coefficient and their rigidity they resist very well in oils with a low aniline point, in aromatic fuels, they remarkably maintain their elasticity at low temperatures.
Applications: Abrasion, petrol, physical stresses, high pressures.
Maximum temperatures: – 45 + 80°C

CHLOROPRENE

These compounds have excellent resistance to atmospheric agents, sunlight, sea water and refrigerant gases.
Applications: Atmospheric agents, refrigerant gases.
Maximum temperatures: -30 + 100°C

SILICONE MVQ

These polymers give the compounds characteristics of excellent resistance to cold and heat. They are indicated for resistance in dry air. Food compatibility, poor mechanical characteristics.
Applications: Air, high temperature, low temperature, oxygen.
Maximum temperature: -60 + 240°C<

FLUOROSILICONE

For this elastomer, the same characteristics of silicone apply, but with the addition of better chemical resistance and excellent fuel resistance.

FLUOROELASTOMERO FPM

These elastomers give the compounds excellent resistance to acids, fuels, oils and high temperatures.
Poor flexibility at low temperatures. Applications: High temperatures, mineral oils, aromatic solvents, diluted acids, ozone oxidation.
Maximum temperatures: -15 + 240°C

PEROXIDE FLUORELASTOMERS

Peroxide fluoroelastomers significantly improve the chemical, mechanical and temperature resistance characteristics compared to their “little brother”.
The use of these elastomers allows for a significant technological improvement which nowadays it becomes more and more indispensable where more sophisticated applications occur with contact with chemically aggressive fluids or gases.

HNBR

Resistance to wear, ozone, high temperature aging. Good resistance to contact with fuels, mineral and synthetic oils. Reduced permeability to gases, good characteristics at high and low temperatures. Maximum temperatures: -40 + 150°C
