In the area of industrial gaskets, a growing practice is the use of screen-printing to
effectively identify gaskets during assembly.
The use of Coatings, finds particular application when structural changes to the colour of the gasket compound cannot be made, which could adversely affect overall performance with structural changes that should reduce, the fundamental characteristics of the gasket itself. Therefore, in order to maintain the integrity of the performance without altering the structure, the adopted solution consists in PTFE coatings identification.
These films, only a few microns thin, are applied to the gaskets, allowing accurate identification without altering the base compound and preserving its characteristics, and,
due to the low thickness, also eliminating any impact on dimensions.
The correct product seals identification ,significantly reduces the risk of errors during installation, optimizing efficiency and minimizing inconvenience due to confusion and
misapplication. Ultimately, this practice results in a significant operational and qualitative benefit in the field of industrial gasket assembly.
