PERFLUOROELASTOMER PRODUCTS

Perfluoroelastomers (FFKM, FFPM) are a type of elastomer specifically designed for use in extreme environments. They are highly resistant to most acids, bases, oxidants and hydrocarbons, and can withstand temperatures ranging from -30°C to +300°C. The extreme strength of these materials therefore makes them ideal for sealing applications that require long-term reliability.

For example, perfluoroelastomer O-rings are particularly appreciated for use in critical applications of contact with aggressive fluids, naval fuels, refining environments, vacuum applications, the aviation sector, the electronic sector and the medical sector, with temperatures that can reach 300 °C.

In general, however, the ability of the material to maintain its physical characteristics in difficult environments that require high levels of chemical, mechanical and environmental resistance, guarantees its use in a wide range of applications. They are an excellent choice for critical products that require extreme durability and continuity, where replacement must be reduced in frequency as much as possible and be scheduled and not emergency, due to the vital relevance of the application in which they are inserted.
